'Merica and Babies

If I could sum up this weekend in two words it would be 'Merica and Babies. Gray and I spent our Friday night at the local skating rink in our best 'Merica gear. Getting dress up, acting ridiculous, and going skating is just a perk of working in college ministry. :) Gray and I really had a ton of fun! We got to hang out with some of our  CP group peeps and re-live our middle school days of skating every Friday night...and by our I mean my... Gray says he never got into the skating rink scene. He missed out I know!

Saturday and Sunday consisted of lots of babysitting/childcare. Hence why the second word to describe the weekend was "babies"! Saturday we babysat for a couple at our church who have 8 month twin boys. They were seriously adorable. Anyone who knows me well knows that I have a huge weakness for babies! I was basically in heaven!! On Sunday we did childcare at church from 4:30-8:30 where we got to play with some more babies. I'm telling you, this weekend was baby central.

Tonight after  dinner with the hubby, he left for band practice and a flag football game while I am left trying to pack (I am the worlds worst packer ever) for a conference we are leaving for  bright and early tomorrow morning! We are going to a church planting conference in Raleigh, NC! We are pretty excited about it!!

I will be updating soon on how the conference goes! Until then, have a wonderful evening!
