Good morning! Since today is the day before THANKSGIVING we are fully taking advantage of being off work and hanging out at home! So far today we have slept late, consumed a whole pan of cinnamon rolls (oops), painted nails (Gray didn't participate in this), and read! It's been a glorious day! I am trying to persuade Gray to ride into the big city of Anderson with me to get some fresh air! It's beautiful outside so I have a feeling I may succeed! Here is a short life update via pictures and some exciting news at the end of the post so stay tuned! :)
I got to spend a morning with this sweet boy! :-) I don't think he could get any cuter!
Gray went out of town for a seminary class one weekend and I took FULL advantage of having the house to myself and cleaned like a mad woman. I would have felt good about eating off any surface in the apt once I got done... it was THAT clean. My OCD self loved it!!
our little home decked out for Fall!
The Coffee table that Gray made for us!
The end table made by my handsome handyman
The knob I added to make it a little more feminine friendly :)
We celebrated 4 months of marriage on November 7th!
The hubz as cool as always. haha
We were able to visit the Raley's in Myrtle Beach! It was SUCH a blessing to spend time with them and get a peek into new lives as a married couple livin at da beach! We also got to visit Cornerstone- the church that Dustin leads musical worship at and it was awesome! Cornerstone is a pretty young church plant but very solid! I can't wait to see what the Lord does through that church!
Sushi with The Raley's!!
Pretty sure there was a hole in the air matress... haha oops.
love this girl!
This past Sunday we had a Free College Luncheon where all of the college students could come and learn about Generation LINK! (The program that Gray and I are in) We had a lot of college students out and served 65ibs of Smokin Pig BBQ! This was a pic of just some of the stuff I had to purchase from Sam's! PS...Sam's is AWESOME! As I was shopping I basically got a free meal from samples! YUM!
On Monday we had Thanksgiving Fellowship at Crosspoint where we served over 500 people a Thanksgiving dinner and then we have a little blue grass praise! It was awesome!
Gray and I were able to take home some leftovers from the Fellowship so I used the leftovers and added a few things to it to make our own little Thanksgiving feast last night!
Now here we are at thing morning, we are taking today to rest and then tomorrow we are going to my mom's house for lunch and Gray's parents house for dinner. I am SO excited to celebrate the holidays with Gray as my husband. He makes holidays more merry. :)
Oh and for the big surprise.....
We found out this week that we will be leading a team of college students in INDIA this summer!! We leave on June 26th and don't get back until August 8th! (1st year wedding anniversary in India any one?!?! haha) We will be there a total of 6 weeks ministering to the people there. We don't know all of the details of what we will be doing yet, but there are already missionaries from Crosspoint there so we are going to join them! I will give more details as I find them out! Until then, please pray that the Lord would start preparing our hearts and our team for India!
