Our First Holiday Season as a Mr and Mrs! (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years)

Thanksgiving lunch with my mom and sister!

We had dinner with Grays side of the family!

Day after Thanksgiving = Christmas tree shoppin'

We found "THE ONE!"

posin' with our tree - we were so proud! We had to reorganize our entire apt just to figure out how to fit the tree in... gotta lot the 500 sq ft apt! :)

The final product!

I had to get an up close picture of the bow since I did it all by myself! (Shout out to youtube tutorials- HOLLA!)

We're cheesy and we know it. ;-)

Janio got us this special ornament for our first Christmas together! I love it! We will be hanging this little guy on our tree for years to come!
I quickly discovered that wreaths were a little  lot out of my budget, so I decide to get a little crafty and make my own! Not to shabby for only spending $18! Another reason why I love Hobby Lobby!

I loved getting to spend QT with these women. #411Snugforever #besties #lookingforwardtoournextdate

I participated in my first ever "Cookie swap"..... and loved it! :)

after the swap!

...I wouldn't have been able to bake all 7 dozen cookies without the help from these two gems! I love these women!

The week before Christmas our Generation LINK Staff had a mid year retreat in Gatlinburg Tennessee. We had a blast! It was such a good time of fellowship and encouragement. I am so blessed to work with these people... they are not only my "co-workers"but friends and brothers and sisters in Christ!

As a part of our "Annual Christmas Date" Gray took me to this house that goes CRAZY for Christmas...WE LOVED IT!

....and they give out free popcorn and hot chocolate! You can't go wrong there!

We spent our first Christmas eve morning at Cracker Barrell for a little brunch!

This is how Gray labels our presents.... never a dull moment with this guy. :)

My beautiful mom on Christmas!

Gray was trying to help Taylor navigate her new laptop! She was so giddy! :)

My "studly husband" and me on Christmas!

I GOT A ONESIE! How fun! Gray's mom is the best for scouting this gem out!

Right after Christmas Gray and I road tripped to Mobile, Alabama to see one of our great friends Mary Catherine get married!!! Woo Hoo! This is from the Rehearsal dinner.

These two women are incredible. I love them dearly and hate the fact they live so far away from me!

Wasn't she perfect?

On New years eve Gray and I went over and hung out with some friends to watch the Clemson bowl game (WHICH WE WON...WOOOOO!!!) and play some cards. I wouldn't have wanted to start off 2013 in any other way!

I have so much to be thankful for from 2012! My prayer for 2013 is that I grow in the likeness of Christ. I pray that he sanctifies me and uses my life to bring honor and praise to his name!
7But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. 8Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ 9and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith— 10that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead. -Philippians 3:7-11 ESV
